Annette Walker is the Founder of Enterprise Insights, an enterprise that offers Business and Communications Coaching for:

  • Professionals and independent business owners who wish to progress their consulting businesses to achievement of both personal and business goals through effective strategies and enterprising insights
  • “Manager as Coach” programs coaching managers in the essence of Solution Focused communication strategies and techniques useful for performance feedback, management and leadership in the workplace
  • Solution Focused Career Choice and decision making programs

Annette held the position of Non-Executive Director with Howard Park Wines Pty Ltd from April 2015 to February 2017, a premium wine maker in the Margaret River and Great Southern Regions and a member of the Australian First Families of Australia.

Annette Walker was the founder and director of Insight Career Management from 2003 to 2014, an enterprise that for 11 years provided specialized Career Re-direction and Workplace Coaching for professionals, both private and corporate clients, for individuals of all ages contemplating career change, either voluntarily or involuntarily and retirees leaving the workplace.   

Annette was also a WA Finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards for the Business Owners category in 2007 for her work with Insight Career Management.

Annette has a Graduate Diploma in Human Services (Counselling) at Curtin University and a Graduate Certificate in Career Education at Edith Cowan University. She has completed the Professional Development Certificate in Workplace Coaching through Sydney University Coaching Psychology Unit with Dr Tony Grant.

Annette is a Human Synergistics LSI/GSI accredited practitioner and a fully qualified and accredited administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) suite of instruments. She uses both of these methodologies in her career redirection and workplace coaching programs.

She has been on the National Executive (NEC) of The Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) for 8 years holding office as a general member of the NEC, National Vice President for 2 years and the WA Divisional President for 4 years. 

Annette has 22 years experience in the Career Management Industry specializing in Career Counselling and Re-direction, Outplacement, Change Management, Workplace Coaching and Solution Focused Communications strategies and techniques and 13 years experience in creating, building and selling her Business.

Her Coaching is an excellent performance management tool for business owners, employees and companies who wish to support themselves and their staff, ranging from Business strategies for growth, talented executive’s development to performance related employee issues and personal Career Management choices and change.

Annette has delivered Career Management programs for Morgan & Banks Outplacement and managed the Athlete Career and Education Program at both the Australian and Western Australian Institutes of Sport.

She has experienced career transition in her life, having previous experience in private enterprise in the fields of agriculture, real estate, and sales and marketing, which have given her a wealth of knowledge and contacts in industry.

This unique combination of experience and learning allows Annette to take an empathic, but pragmatic and commercial focus.
